Meet Neville 🤎 Neville is a charming older gentleman with a playful spirit and a love for treats! He’s very food motivated, which makes him a great candidate for continued training—he’s just working on taking treats a bit more politely. Don’t let his age fool you—Neville still enjoys his playtime, especially when he’s off leash and able to have some fun. That said, he would do best in a calmer home environment with older children who can respect his space and gentle nature. Neville is a grounded, independent boy who prefers to keep all four paws on the floor—he’s not a fan of being picked up, and he’ll appreciate a family that understands and respects that boundary. He also shows signs of cataracts in both eyes, and combined with his bangs, this can make him a bit hesitant when hands reach over his head. Taking things slow and approaching him in a way he can see will help him feel safe and comfortable. One of Neville’s best qualities is how nicely he walks on a leash—he’s a wonderful companion for relaxed strolls and enjoying the outdoors at a steady pace. With a patient, understanding home, Neville will make a loyal and loving companion who’s ready to enjoy his golden years by your side.
